• Workshop on Results Based Management to Support the EANET Project Development and Evaluation
  ACAP, serving as the Network Center for the EANET, with the support of the Ministry of the Environment, Japan (MOEJ) is organizing a Workshop on Results-Based Management to Support the EANET Project Fund Development and Evaluation, to facilitate the efficient development and evaluation of EANET Projects. • EANET National Stakeholder Awareness Workshop in Cambodia
  The EANET National Stakeholder Awareness Workshop in Cambodia - Understanding Air Pollution and its Sources, Weather, Climate, and Geography in Cambodia, will be held in Phnom Phen, Cambodia on 19 March 2024, from 13:30 to 16:40 (ICT), in partnership with the Ministry of Environment, Cambodia and UNEP. The meeting is planned to be held in person in Phnom Phen, Cambodia. Participation in the meeting is by invitation only. Find out more.
• Stocktaking and Methodological Assessment of Emissions Inventories and Source Apportionment of Air Pollution in Southeast Asia
  The inception meeting of the project “Stocktaking and Methodological Assessment of Emissions Inventories and Source Apportionment of Air Pollution in Southeast Asia” will be organized on Tuesday 26 March 2024 at the UN Conference Center (UNCC) in Bangkok, Thailand. The objective of the meeting is to better understand the emissions inventory/ source apportionment situation in Southeast Asia and discuss with project partners the detailed activities to be carried out in the project. • TNT and Capacity Building Program, Session 1, R. of Korea
  The Network Center (NC) for the EANET, in collaboration with the National Institute of Environmental Research (NIER), Republic of Korea, will hold the TNT & Capacity Building Program to improve the monitoring capabilities in the Participating Countries. The first Session of the Program will take place in Incheon, R. of Korea, from 29 April to 10 May 2024. Find out more here.

• Project Meeting – Stocktaking and Methodological Assessment of Emissions Inventories and Source Apportionment of Air Pollution in Southeast Asia
  The meeting of the project "Stocktaking and Methodological Assessment of Emissions Inventories and Source Apportionment of Air Pollution in Southeast Asia" will be held on 29 May 2024, in Meeting Room B, at the United Nations Conference Centre in Bangkok (UNCC), Thailand, and online, from 13:00 to 17:00. This meeting is by invitation only.
• Meeting on the Preparation of the Draft Medium Term Plan (2026-2030) for the EANET
  The Meeting on the Preparation of the Draft Medium Term Plan (2026-2030) for the EANET will be attended by the EANET National Focal Points and representatives from the 13 Participating Countries and will be held on 29 May 2024, in Meeting Room B, at the United Nations Conference Centre in Bangkok (UNCC), Thailand, and online, from 9:00 to 12:30. This meeting is by invitation only.
• Unlocking and Future-Proofing Air Quality Management in Asia
  The EANET Awareness Workshop in 2024 will be organized from 27-29 May at the United Nations Conference Centre in Bangkok (UNCC), Thailand, Conference Room 4, under the name “Unlocking and Future-Proofing Air Quality Management in Asia, Multi-stakeholder consultation workshop for improved multilateral and international cooperation on air pollution”. July 2024

• Fellowship for Building Leadership in Atmospheric Environment and Air Quality Management in East Asia
  The Fellowship for Leadership in Atmospheric Environment and Air Quality Management in East Asia, organized by EANET and Fudan University, aims to enhance leadership in air quality management. Open to participants from the EANET countries, the six-month program includes on-site research at Fudan University in Shanghai, China, and at the Network Center for the EANET, in Niigata, Japan, from July 15 to August 9, 2024. The program encourages research on air quality monitoring, data analysis, simulation, emission inventory, health impact, and policy. Five participants will be selected, engaging in online meetings and on-site training, reporting progress to supervisors in China and Japan.  

August 2024

• The Twenty-fifth Senior Technical Managers’ Meeting (STM25) on the EANET
  The Twenty-fifth Senior Technical Managers’ Meeting (STM25) on the EANET will be organized in a hybrid form, from 28 to 29 August 2024, in Bangkok, Thailand. It will be attended by senior technical officials from the 13 Participating Countries involved in the EANET monitoring activities.
• The Working Group Meeting (WG2024) on the EANET in 2024
  The Working Group Meeting (WG2024) on the EANET in 2024 will be organized online on 20-21 August 2024. It will be attended by the EANET National Focal Points and representatives from the 13 Participating Countries.

September 2024

• TNT and Capacity Building Program, Session 2, Japan
  The Network Center (NC) for the EANET, in collaboration with the National Institute of Environmental Research (NIER), Republic of Korea, will hold the TNT & Capacity Building Program to improve the monitoring capabilities in the Participating Countries. • VOCs Advisory Group Meeting
  As part of the EANET Project "Promoting VOCs related Capacity Building in the EANET" the VOCs Advisory Group Meeting will be held at the Center for Environmental Science in Saitama (CESS), Japan, from 22-23 October 2004.
• VOCs Monitoring and Measurement Training
  As part of the EANET Project "Promoting VOCs related Capacity Building in the EANET" a training on VOCs Monitoring and Measurement will be held at the Center for Environmental Science in Saitama (CESS), Japan, from 21-25 October 2004. More information on the modality of the training will be shared in due course.
• TNT and Capacity Building Program, Session 2, R. of Korea
  The Network Center (NC) for the EANET, in collaboration with the National Institute of Environmental Research (NIER), Republic of Korea, will hold the TNT & Capacity Building Program to improve the monitoring capabilities in the Participating Countries. • The Twenty-fourth Scientific Advisory Committee (SAC24) meeting on the Acid Deposition Monitoring Network in East Asia
  The Twenty-fourth Scientific Advisory Committee (SAC24) meeting on the Acid Deposition Monitoring Network in East Asia will be organized in a hybrid form, from 29 to 31 October 2024, in Seoul, Republic of Korea. It will be attended by the members of the EANET Scientific Advisory Committee from the 13 EANET Participating Countries.

November 2024

• The Twenty-sixth Session of the Intergovernmental Meeting on the EANET
  The Twenty-sixth Session of the Intergovernmental Meeting (IG26) on the EANET will be organized in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, in a hybrid format, from 27 to 28 November 2024. It will be attended by the EANET National Focal Points and representatives from the 13 Participating Countries.
